EQUIPEX started its activity in 1970 with the marketing of furniture and equipment for schools. In 1980, its first plant started production and a show room was opened in one of the main streets in Lisbon. The product line covered the whole range of furniture for education, from kindergartens to specialized professional training centers.

EQUIPEX has offices in Lisbon covering administrative and marketing activities. The plant is located at Casal de Cambra, few miles from Lisbon

In 1997, 2000 and 2003 the quality os its furniture was officially homologated as per official publication in the Government Diário da Republica.

Our furniture has a leading position in the supplies to the government - to the Ministry of Education, to the Municipalities (city councils), and to private schools and training centers, as well as for the export market.
To the marketing of furniture we have added a line on didactic games of a high standard, mainly produced in wood.

Besides the school furniture EQUIPEX also supplies office funiture in several lines of products, covering a full range of price/quality options, low price/laminated, average quality up to high quality furniture in wood.
